The auteur SHINJI AOYAMA has just arrived tonight.
His new project “Decadent Sisters” is in L’Atelier, Cannes.
We are going to pitch the project in the market all morning till May 22nd.
I am hoping to get the finance closed during Cannes.
On the market side, HUMAN CENTIPEDE is one of the hottest controvertial title.
I smell something in the film as a buyer, but I really do not like this kind of
CULT movie as an ordinary audience.
The main character is played by a Japanese actor, so I hope the film get right distributors
for many territories as possible.
It is encouraging to see active Japanese in the film industry outside Japan.
