GUILTY OF ROMANCE by SION SONO opened at a long weekend in Hong Kong with remarkable screen average!
With the attendance at Hong Kong International Film Festival, Asian Film Awards and also the director’s visit, the film has earned great publicity and review which helps this very first Regular theatrical release of Mr. Sono Sion’s work in Hong Kong, where his work used to have festival or video release only in the territory.
The result is satisfactory to us for which the film’s per screen box office only lies behind two 3D movies (Titanic, Dr Suess the Lorax) and Mirror Mirror among seven new opening movies at the same weekend.
